Update - Two weeks to go!

I'm so excited to be leaving for Burundi in two weeks! I have been praying for God to give me an opportunity to go to Africa for a couple years now! I can't believe it's almost here.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and so generously supported me financially for this trip. I still have more to raise to cover all costs. If you are able to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated! Remember to send checks to Cedar Mill Bible Church- 14273 NW Science Park Dr. Portland, OR 97229

Our First Test

So, Mike and I put together a support letter and we thought we had it all nailed down...oops! Mike accidentally used our church's building addresses where we worship, and not the office address. We have tried to send out emails and/or call folks to let them know about our goof.

Here is the correct address:

Cedar Mill Bible Church
14273 NW Science Park Dr
Portland, OR 97229

Please let us know if you mailed support to the other address and we will see if it was redirected to the office by the post office.

Sorry for the confusion!

Love Burundi Festival - July 30 - August 8, 2011

Burundi is one of the world’s poorest nations with 80% of people living below the poverty line. With a population of 8.5 million people it’s the second highest population density on Africa. 480,000 live in Bujumbura, the capital. This is the location for Andrew Palau’s next festival in August. Would you consider joining us as one of our much needed mission team members?

YES! I'm going to Burundi!!!

The two-day festival in the heart of Bujumbura at the Cotebu Grounds will put local training into action, proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, and celebrate the impact of the Season of Service in the months leading up to the festival. Team members will serve as counselors and volunteers in the Family Fun Zone, Sports Action area and for the big event on the main stage.
